Kumbh Path is an independent guide. It is not run by the Government of Maharashtra, the Kumbh Mela authority, the police or any temple trust. Dates, routes, timings and rules can change at short notice: always follow official announcements and the instructions of police and volunteers on the ground. In an emergency, call 112.

Information on the site

We work hard to keep guides, dates and listings accurate, but we cannot guarantee that everything is complete, current or error-free. Use the site as a helpful starting point, not as the only source for safety, travel or religious decisions.

Stays, cabs, tours and partners

Listings marked as examples are samples. Bookings and payments are between you and the provider; Kumbh Path is not a party to them and is not responsible for a provider’s service, prices or cancellations. Report anything suspicious to us, and never pay strangers in advance. See our guide to avoiding scams.

Your account

• Keep access to your Google account or mobile number safe: anyone with it can sign in as you.
• Enter only true details, and only add people to safety cards with their or their guardian’s consent.
• We may suspend accounts that are used for spam, fraud or abuse.

Fair use

Do not misuse the site: no automated scraping that overloads it, no attempts to break its security, and no false or offensive enquiries. Photos and texts credited to others remain theirs under their own licences.

Liability

The site is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, Kumbh Path is not liable for losses arising from using it or relying on its information. Nothing here limits rights you have under Indian consumer law.
